The first car meet I went to when I got my car was M1 Cars and Coffee back when it was peak. If you've been in the scene for a while, you know the first Saturday of the month used to be legendary. Since M1 fell off a cliff, that start of the month energy has been missing. I've been around this community a long time, and while there are still some great events out there, I wanted to build something different to add to the mix.

WELCOME TO: FIRST GEAR CARS & COFFEE

Instead of sitting in the same parking lot with the same coffee every month, we are doing a fully rotating Cars & Coffee series. Every first Saturday, we will pull up to a brand new city and support a local, independent coffee shop or restaurant. You get a fresh vibe every time, but the same solid community.

We are building this specifically for Michigan car scene veterans. It is meant to be a common meeting point for respected owners who actually drive their cars and just want to connect. We keep it strictly park and chill. No burnouts, no revving, and zero reckless behavior. Just a clean, safe environment to check out high quality stuff.

We are starting small with plans to grow organically, relying heavily on word of mouth marketing. We are not doing this for clout or attention, we just want to help repair the local community and put on a new kind of morning show.

We were planning to Launch Spring of 2027, but will be starting a dry run starting in September of 2026.
